It should be a big red flag for the landlord when the utilities for this 2500 square foot home come in at nearly $1500 per month, and even more during the summer.
Tenants turned the attic into a loft and removed the insulation. There is also 0 insulation in any of the joist bays resulting in 0 “R” Value and money literally being thrown out the window. Hopefully, the landlord does not cover the utilities.
